Developer Advocate (DevRel)

Help developers discover and love Harakumo: docs, examples, videos, templates and community, especially for people building with AI assistants.

What you’ll do

  • Build real example apps and templates on Harakumo, and write the guides that go with them
  • Make videos and posts that show a one-line idea becoming a live app
  • Be the developer’s voice inside the team: turn feedback into fixes and features
  • Run community channels and help the first users succeed

What you bring

  • You build things and explain them well, in writing and on camera
  • Solid JavaScript/TypeScript and web fundamentals
  • An audience, open-source work or published tutorials you can show
  • Bonus: experience with AI coding assistants and MCP

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and early-team equity (discussed in the first conversation)
  • Remote-first, async-friendly; quarterly in-person in NYC
  • Freedom to shape how the world hears about Harakumo

How we hire

  1. Apply on this site. Every application goes through the form on the role’s page, with the live link of something you deployed on Harakumo. Email and LinkedIn messages are not reviewed.
  2. Build it, from your own account. Create a free account, build a working app around your own idea (connect your AI to harakumo.com/mcp, or use the CLI or SDK), deploy it, and submit it signed in at /careers/next-step. We read what you built before résumés.
  3. One conversation. 45 minutes with the founder about what you built and what you would build here.
  4. A paid project, if useful. Optional: a scoped, paid one-week project on a real service. Then an offer.

The same steps, for every role, are on the careers page.

Applications are reviewed only through this form. Required: your GitHub or portfolio, and the live link of something you built and deployed on Harakumo, like https://your-project.harakumo.app (sign up free and deploy it with the SDK, the CLI or your AI; even a 20-minute demo counts). A GitHub link is not accepted for this one.
